You may be thinking what on earth is this post all about, well hang in there and i'll tell you why i think
baby bibs are not only essential but should be mandatory.

We all know how messy feeding times are and how food ends up on the floor or dribbled down the top of clothing, Well babies are ten times messier than us and in my experience. Recently i had my sister over for a month with her 10 month old boy. Delighted we all were with them staying with us. Getting up at 6am to the giggles of an 10month old is a delight and one of the best ways to wake up. Smiles all round and your day has become brighter and you problems become unimportant. One morning i went downstairs for the usual breakfast and coffee to the site of a carnage. There was enough toys on the floor to give one to each child in the Uk, in amongst the toy cars and soft toys were squished strawberries accompanied with water melon skins scattered around the floor. In the site of a feeding frenzy there surely was a child behind it, I know my sister can eat and she is a messy eater but this was done by a pro a 10 month old pro and there sitting in the corner with a face smothered in strawberry juice and watermelon stuck in his curly hair with a side of vomit down his fresh clean cloths was a little baby with the biggest smile you can imagine, It was smile of pride, only he could create such a mess and disguise himself as a fruit cocktail before the hour of 7am.
Where was my sister in all of this you may be wondering, Well she was there stinking of sour milk smiling away and with a face of delight that somebody has arrived to save the day and looking for any chance to get out of the room that has been through a food blender. For the next month we tackled ways of keeping the food of the walls and out the cupboards and out of ever little corner. The more food in or on the baby the less food we will stand on and perform tricks that would be more suited to dancing on ice, it would save the wallpaper that had been freshly added to the walls, it would save our knees from scrubbing off the baby porridge from the kitchen floor.
